Mobile apps

Three apps built for the phone, which open in the browser and use the microphone: the Interpreter (two-way voice translation), Coach (pronunciation practice) and Summary (transcribe, summarise and report on your recordings). Nothing to install from a store: they are web apps (PWAs) and can be added to your home screen as one more icon. They use your browser session, so sign in first; the API key never reaches the phone.

Interpreter

Open the Interpreter →

Translates a face-to-face conversation, turn by turn. You pick the two languages (A and B), press the button of whoever is speaking, say your sentence and release: the translation appears written and plays in the other language. Each button carries the name of the language it speaks, so each person knows which one is theirs.

A cloned-voice switch makes the translation sound in your voice in the other language (requires a paid plan). The cost of each turn is shown below and the balance updates on its own. The transcript is kept on this device only; "Start over" clears it.

Coach

Open Coach →

Your pronunciation coach. You pick the language, type the phrase you want to practise and press Listen to hear how it sounds. Then you press Record, say it and stop: we give you a score, an explanation and the mistakes sound by sound (what you said where another sound should be, what you dropped, what you added), with the reference phonetic transcription (IPA) and yours.

If what you recorded doesn't match the phrase —because of background noise— we say so plainly instead of inventing a breakdown. The cost of the analysis is shown when it finishes.

Summary

Open Summary →

Turns a recording into text, a summary or a PDF report. You give it audio in three ways: pick a file from your phone, record on the spot with the microphone, or —if you've installed it— share a voice note from another app (WhatsApp, for example): "Summary" shows up among the apps to share to and the audio comes straight in.

With the audio loaded you choose what you want:

Your plan and remaining credits are shown at the top, with a link to buy credits or upgrade; the cost comes off your balance. "Start over" clears the screen for another recording.

Install on your phone

With the app open in your phone's browser: on iPhone/iPad (Safari), tap Share → "Add to Home Screen"; on Android (Chrome), the menu → "Install app" or "Add to Home screen". It sits there like any app's icon, opens full-screen and updates itself. They also work from the browser without installing anything.

On iPhone/iPad the app works just as well as on Android, with one difference: Apple does not show the automatic "Install" prompt that appears on Android, so you do the step by hand from Share → "Add to Home Screen", and only in Safari (not from another app's in-app browser, such as Instagram's or Gmail's). Once added it is identical: its own icon and full screen.

Privacy. Your voice is recorded and sent to our servers (in the EU) only to produce the result; we don't keep your audio, and the audio we generate carries an inaudible watermark required by the EU AI Act. More in Privacy.
